Liu Yang

Liu Yang (Leon) is the executive manager of Tongji-MIT CiyScience Lab @ Shanghai. He teaches at the College of Design and Innovation，Tongji University, China. Leon interests in facilitating a data-driven, evidence-based urban design decision-making process with real-time
metrics for evaluation serving the rapid urbanization and digital transformation in China. Leon has more than 10 years of experience in architecture design. He worked on projects including the design of the stadiums for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the planning of the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games in China, and the urban renewal design of Shanghai's Harbor City. He joined the L3 group to develop and implement new urban modeling and simulation products and projects in China.
